Sunset & Sails and Asociatia 11even invite you to a competition with a noble purpose.
Sail for Good brings together representatives of visionary companies to “compete” in a shared mission: supporting people with disabilities through access to sailing and to therapy and high-performance sports programs.
This support can be offered either through direct participation in the event or through dedicated sponsorships outside the competition.
The Cause
The funds raised during this year’s edition will be dedicated to supporting people with disabilities through two complementary directions: making sailing more accessible and contributing to the development of the Climb Again Paralympic therapy and training center.
Companies can choose to get involved individually, by sponsoring a sailing trip for a group of people with disabilities, or by joining other participants in a shared effort — the Sail for Good regatta. Both options are part of the same mission: to turn into reality experiences that, until recently, seemed out of reach.
One name already inspires this course – Makzin Dacian, world champion and Paralympic finalist, who, from a wheelchair, has turned limitation into excellence. He will join us on this journey not only as a symbol, but as a true sailor. He will sail alongside the crews, on the same route, and will receive — on behalf of those yet to come — the symbolic prize offered by the winning team — a gesture that will set real waves of change in motion.

The Participants

Each company will be represented either by a crew formed from its own team members or by a dedicated crew provided by Sunset & Sails, ensuring that every sail raised carries the spirit and values of those on board. Before departure, all participants will take part in a professional briefing session to familiarize themselves with the journey ahead. Every boat will be guided by an experienced skipper, charting a safe and inspiring course through island-dotted waters.
The presence of each company will be made visible and proud—its name flying boldly on a large vertical flag, dancing with the wind. Their commitment will also echo beyond the sea, with mentions in selected publications and media, honoring not only their participation but the cause they support.
The Sailboat
With its sleek lines and generous proportions, the Oceanis 51.1 embodies a perfect harmony of elegance, agility, and comfort. Designed for both performance and pleasure, this sailing yacht glides effortlessly across the sea, offering stability without compromising on speed.
Its spacious deck invites connection and contemplation, while the refined interior blends functionality with understated luxury—ideal for both spirited sailing and serene escapes. Every curve speaks of innovation; every sail raised becomes a gesture of grace.
The Playground
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Cyclades, the race unfolds in one of the most enchanting sailing arenas on Earth. With crystal-clear waters, sun-kissed islands, and the softened breath of the Meltemi wind, conditions are near-perfect for full sails and spirited navigation.
By day, crews test their synergy and skill across open seas and secret coves. By night, the sails are lowered but spirits rise—gathering around long tables in seaside tavernas or cliffside hideaways, where the taste of Greece mingles with laughter and stories shared.
The official course will be revealed three days prior to departure, carefully chosen based on the latest weather conditions to ensure safety and optimal sailing. Yet, the rhythm of the experience will remain steady:

The Prize

We aim to organize at least as many sea outings for people with disabilities as there are participating corporate crews. At the same time, we plan to make a dedicated sailing vessel fully accessible — so it can be used regularly for both recreation and training toward participation in sailing competitions. Because the joy of the sea should know no limits.
Participants will be able to choose which of the two causes they wish to support: access to sailing or the development of the Climb Again center — both contributing in a meaningful way to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Three main trophies will be awarded to the top-performing crews, along with commemorative trophies for all participants.
In a gesture filled with meaning, the winning team will hand over the prize fund to Makzin Dacian, who will receive it on behalf of those whose strength deserves a place to grow.
During the festive dinner, we will also host a supplementary fundraising moment, open to all those who wish to contribute. The funds raised will be added to the prize and distributed to the causes chosen by each participating company.
